Welcome to Our Newest Staff Member!
It is with great excitement that we announce the newest member of our staff! Jane Whitehead has accepted the role as Director of the Joyful Noise Nursery School & Day Care. Her first day on the job was June 28. Jane most recently served 10 years as the Director of the Mendham Cooperative Nursery School. We are excited to have Jane on our staff and we are confident that Joyful Noise will continue its growth under Jane’s guidance.
Reason to Celebrate!
In April, Jessica became an Inquirer for Ministry with the Presbytery and our Session took her under care. This means that the Session will support Jess however they can during this 3 to 4 year process. One way of giving their support is to provide an Elder to be her liaison and mentor - someone to stay connected with her each step of the way. Ruth Otey has graciously stepped forward for this role!
Jess is currently in the application process for seminary. She has been accepted to Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC and is waiting to hear from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Both schools offer Master of Divinity programs with an emphasis on Art and Faith - one of Jess's passions. Depending on financial aid, Jess will enroll in the fall of 2010 or 2011. Many aid deadlines have already passed, so please keep Jess in your prayers as she works to fund her education.
Jess is very grateful for the opportunities she has been given at PCMP throughout her youth and as a staff member. She would not be taking this next step without the foundation she received here as a child and student at Joyful Noise. Thank you to all who have invested in Jess!
