Jessica Goodson is a full-time conductor, pianist, organist, flutist and educator. She earned a bachelor’s degree of acoustics and music from the University of Hartford/Hartt School of Music. She has studied and trained in the Suzuki Method and attended a master class with Sir James Galway. She has performed with the Greenwich Village Singers, Montclair Community Band, NJ Concert Band, and substituted as a church soloist throughout the North Jersey/NYC area. Besides enjoying music, Jessica has worked as an acoustical consultant in NYC and has taught as an adjunct professor in acoustics at the City College of New York School of Architecture. Over the last fifteen years, she has homeschooled her three children, taught at private co-ops, and maintained a private music studio in Forest Hill Newark. Her most gratifying work has been teaching Newark’s youth, fostering their appreciation for classical music and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
